The Heart Behind Still & Paws

A space for the quiet moments.

Like many of you, my life has been shaped by the paw prints of my companions, most notably Luna and Wisley. They are my teachers in presence, my partners in stillness, and the reason this space exists.

Through my journey with them and my work in the pet community, I realised there was a missing link. We have incredible veterinary care for our pets' bodies, and beautiful memorials for after they leave us, but there is very little support for the threshold in between.

I created Still & Paws because no pet guardian should have to navigate the heavy burden of the final decision in isolation. I saw too many people paralysed by guilt, waiting for a sign that often only arrives in a moment of crisis. I have also witnessed, first hand, how much a plan changes everything. In my time working in veterinary practice, I saw that when the big decisions - the when, where, and how - are navigated in advance, the goodbye shifts from a blur of panic into a moment of presence.

My Mission

My goal isn’t to tell you when it’s time. Only you know the unique rhythm of your pet's life. My role is to provide the Compass and support you in your decisions.

I offer an empathetic framework to help you move away from the noise of what ifs and toward a decision rooted in clarity and love. Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis, managing a slow decline, or sitting in the stillness after a loss, by stepping out of decision mode before the crisis hits, you give yourself the greatest gift possible: the ability to simply be there with your pet, fully focused on them, without the weight of uncertainty.

I created Still & Paws to help you build that plan, protecting the peace of your final moments together.

I’m so glad you found your way here.
